Japanese rights to Camilla Grebe and Paul Leander-Engström’s trilogy Moscow Noir was sold to Hayakawa Publishing. Hayakawa has a great track record publishing Scandinvian Noir and we are happy to be working with them.
We are happy to announce that Danish rights to The Chosen Ones (De utvalda) have been sold to Gyldendal in Denmark. The publisher got amazing reviews for the author’s last novel The Emperor of Lies and we are looking forward to be working with them again.
Turkish rights to Steve Sem-Sandberg’s upcoming novel were sold just last week to Yusuf Tan at Pegasus Yayinlair. Both the author and Nordin Agency are pleased to be able to continue our collaboration with Pegasus.
We are happy to announce that Steve Sem-Sandberg’s upcoming novel THE CHOSEN ONES (De utvalda) has been sold to Robert Laffont in France. This French powerhouse published the author’s internationally succesful novel THE EMPEROR OF LIES (De fattiga i Lodz) in 2011. Aside from the fantastic reviews the book was also nominated for the Prix Médicis etranger as well as shortlisted for the Jan Michalski Prize for Literature 2013.
Don’t miss this latest review from Norway where Steve Sem-Sandberg’s novel Theres receives the highest possible rating for its insightful rendering, genre-defying literary style and depth of thought. The Grand Audio Prize (Stora Ljudbokspriset) was founded in 2008 and has been awarded to great authors such as Jonas Gardell, Per-Olov Enquist and Jussi Adler-Olsen. The winner will be crowned in April 2014.

Polish rights to Steve Sem-Sandberg’s upcoming novel DE UTVALDA (The Chosen Ones) have been sold to Wydawnitctwo Literackie. They successfully published the author’s very powerful novel The Emperor of Lies last year and we are happy to be able to continue working with them for this authorship.

The Orla Prize is a literary prize named after Orla Frøsnapper (Orla frog-eater)–the protagonist in Ole Lund Kirkegaard’s children’s book with the same name.
It’s a price for and by children–children nominate, vote and select the winner every year.
The winner will be announced in April 2014.
The Orla price is collaboration between Danish Radio and the Reading campaign carried out by the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Affairs. The prize was awarded for the first time in 2005.
