A new digital experience based on Emelie Schepp’s bestselling crime series is set to launch on April 17. Developed by Upplev Norrköping, the interactive crime walk invites visitors to step directly into the world of prosecutor Jana Berzelius, bringing the novels to life in an entirely new way.

Available in the Visit Norrköping app, the walk builds on the success of the popular guided tours and makes the experience accessible year-round. Along the route, users can listen to Emelie Schepp herself as she shares insights into her writing journey, the character of Jana Berzelius, and the real-life locations in Norrköping’s distinctive industrial landscape that inspired the series.

“Together with Upplev Norrköping, I’ve created a digital walk where fiction and reality meet. It allows me to share both my writing process and Jana’s Norrköping in a completely new way.”

The walk is free of charge and will be available in multiple languages to meet growing international interest. The app also offers recommendations for local events and restaurants, further enriching the visitor experience.

Since their launch in 2019, the physical tours have steadily grown in popularity, drawing attention to Norrköping as the setting of Schepp’s novels. The new digital format marks a natural next step in making the experience more widely accessible.
