We are proud to announce that Linda Jones has been nominated for the Norrland Literature Prize 2026 – Best Book of the Year for her novel Pride of Lions.
This year’s nominations for the Norrland Literature Prize include both new voices and authors who have previously been nominated for the prize.

The winner will be announced by the Norrland Literature Society and the Northern Writers’ Centre at the Norrland Literature Society’s annual summer meeting in Jämtland on July 4, 2026. The prize recognizes literature with strong ties to Norrland, both in setting and themes.
Linda has previously been awarded the Norrland Literature Prize for They Take Everything From Me, which was also nominated for the August Prize in 2023.
