We are proud to share that several of our authors have been highlighted on Sweden’s major year-end lists for 2025.

Sydsvenskan names three of our authors among the year’s best:
Hanna Johansson’s Body Double – a haunting, smart contemporary thriller about identity and desire;
Fatima Bremmer’s The Pioneers – a vivid and captivating account of the pioneering women journalists of the early 1900s;
Steve Sem-Sandberg’s City of Saints – praised as a work of exceptional relevance and a new peak in his distinguished authorship.

Dagens Nyheter also includes Hanna Johansson’s Body Double among its 20 best books of 2025, celebrating its cinematic intensity and atmospheric European setting. The novel also appears on Aftonbladet’s list.

In Dagens Nyheter’s critics’ favourites, Therese Bohman’s My Street is highlighted for its masterful Stockholm portrayal and mounting tension. And in the children’s and YA selection, Linda Jones’ Pride of Lions is named one of the year’s strongest titles, praised for its urgent themes and compelling voice.

In Svenska Dagbladet, Åsa Avdic’s The Witch of Sea and Sorrow is selected as one of the best children’s and YA books of the year, praised as a tense and moving contemporary novel.
