Simona Ahrnstedt was born in Prague. She is a licensed psychologist, a cognitive behavioural therapist, as well as one of our bestselling authors. In the last couple of years she has pioneered the new wave of Swedish romance that is sweeping the country. Her novels are successful in many languages where her provocative and clever women’s fiction continues to reach new audiences every day.

As her novels have climbed bestseller lists in Sweden and abroad, she has become a spokesperson for books by women, for women, and about women. After publishing three historical romances Överenskommelser (Arrangements), Betvingade (Coercion), and De skandalösa (Scandalous) Simona embarked on a new adventure, forever changing the Swedish publishing scene.

In 2014 she launched her first contemporary novel, En enda natt (All In). The book became a huge success, selling to over 20 territories and receiving a starred review in PublishersWeekly. It was later followed by En enda hemlighet(Falling) in 2015, which also received a starred review and was called “outstanding”. The final installment of the series, En enda risk (High risk), was published in 2016. In 2017 she is releasing her seventh novel; Allt eller inget (All or Nothing), a humorous office romance.

Simona Ahrnstedt is Sweden’s unrivaled Queen of Romance. Besides continuing to write and teach romance, she’s also spearheading Bonnier’s new romance imprint where she is a senior advisor.
