Läckberg’s The Fjällbacka Series becomes Italian TV series

Camilla Läckberg’s The Fjällbacka Series is becoming an Italian TV series. The new series is currently being filmed in Piombino, Tuscany, and is based on the first four books in the series; The Ice Princess, The Preacher, The Stone Cutter and The Stranger. There will be eight episodes, airing on Canale 5, the largest commercial television channel in Italy.

In an interview with Expressen, Läckberg describes Piombino:
“It’s not a copy of Fjällbacka, but an Italian equivalent. It really feels like this little coastal town.”
