Internationally bestselling author Camilla Läckberg was honoured as this year’s Adam Helms Lecturer at Uppsala University.

In her keynote last week, Läckberg reflected on over twenty years as one of Sweden’s most widely read authors, addressing the debate around “lowbrow” versus “highbrow” culture and calling for all forms of literature to be valued – especially at a time when reading is in decline.

The lecture was followed by a conversation with literary sociologist Karl Berglund and a Q&A session. Läckberg expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share her passion for making literature accessible to everyone.
