We are proud to announce that John Ajvide Lindqvist has been nominated for Årets Rospigg 2025 – “Rospigg of the Year 2025” – an award presented annually by Norrtelje Tidning to celebrate individuals who have made a significant impact in Roslagen, Sweden.
Earlier this autumn, Norrtelje Tidning’s readers nominated a number of candidates who, in different ways, have improved life in their local community or made a difference in the everyday lives of people around them. From these, a jury selected three standout nominees – one of whom is John Ajvide Lindqvist. Ajvide Lindqvist is not only one of Sweden’s foremost writers of horror fiction, but has also firmly placed Norrtälje and Roslagen on the literary map.
The voting is open until 2 November, and the winner of the prestigious prize will be announced during the Roslagen Business Gala on 6 November.
