Historical fiction writer Jesper Bugge Kold is among the nominees for bookstore chain Bog & idé’s prestigious MARTHA Prize 2025.
Bugge Kold is nominated with his book Where The Wind Blows, a gripping story about family migration and the dream of building a new life.
The MARTHA Prize is Denmark’s only fully public literary award, with the winner chosen entirely by reader votes. Voting opens today (September 1st) and runs throughout the month. The winner will be announced in October 2025.
