We are proud to announce that Ida Jessen has received the 2025 Rungstedlund Prize.
The award ceremony took place at the Karen Blixen Museum, Rungstedlund, where Queen Margrethe II personally presented the prize.
In its citation, the Karen Blixen Foundation praised Jessen for “her storyteller’s voice of the highest calibre” and for a body of work that reflects both breadth and depth. Her writing, often centered on how people face life’s most difficult challenges, resonates with the humanism and literary spirit of Karen Blixen herself.
