LINA AREKLEW WAS born in Stockholm 1979 and grew up on Höga Kusten, the Swedish High Coast. Today she lives part time in a house northwest of Stockholm and part time in a croft outside Örnsköldsvik. After a career as a project manager within telecommunications, she studied literature and now works as a freelance copy editor as well as with sales and marketing within the publishing industry.
HER DEBUT NOVEL Death In Summer is set in Stockholm and on the island Ulvön outside Örnsköldsvik. It is a poignant crime novel about loneliness and sorrow which takes off with the tragic sinking of M/S Estonia in 1994. It was followed by In the Dark in 2021, Of Shame in 2023 and Without You in 2024.
THROUGH FIRE, AREKLEW’S latest novel in the High Coast series, reached its readers in 2025.
