HELÉNE HOLMSTRÖM WAS born in 1984. In addition to writing, Heléne works part-time as an associate attorney. She’s a devoted foodie and wine enthusiast and she has even studied to become a sommelier.
SHE DEBUTED WITH Working Late in 2019, a contemporary romance novel inspired by Heléne’s own experiences from her time as an associate attorney. It was followed by Office Affair and the popular third instalment After Hours. In November 2021 she published the first instalment of her seasonal standalone trilogy, Time to Rise, which takes place around Christmas and is a heart-warming romance that will leave you longing for snow and a cup of hot cocoa. It was followed by Dancing in the Dark in 2023, a blossoming spring novel filled with wine, forbidden love and long held dreams, and Now and Forever in 2024, a perfect mix of The Morning Show and a summery frenemies-to-lovers story.
IN FALL 2025 Heléne released the first novel in a brand new series set in the world of luxury retail; When the Lights Fade. A contemporary steaming romance with the backdrop of the enchanting milieu of a historical family owned department store; an irresistible enemies-to-lovers and forbidden love story.
