The authors Camilla Läckberg and Henrik Fexeus are the duo behind a new, unique suspense trilogy. The series is set in modern-day Stockholm with the mentalist Vincent and the Detective Mina as the main characters. The first book will be published fall 2021 by Forum/Ester Bonnier Publishing.

With Camilla and Henrik one plus one becomes three, says Ebba Östberg, publisher at Forum. Camilla’s precise character building and Henrik’s impeccable ability to create mental puzzles, combine the traditional detective story with unconventional mentalism, giving the books a unique dimension, she continues.

In Box, the trilogy’s first installment, the readers are introduced to Detective Mina Dabiri and the mentalist Vincent Walder. Together they work to solve several murders, with crime scenes made to look like magical illusions. Vincent and Mina both have an unconventional way of looking at the world, which affects their lives and how they solve the cases.

Henrik and I are old friends, and we have spoken about doing something together for years . This is the first time I have written a book together with someone. We challenge and develop each other’s authorship, says Camilla.

I have spent the majority of my life finding out how to control the human psyche. To now do it in the form of a book, together with Camilla, perhaps the most skilled writer of captivating stories in the world,  is a dream come true. I still pinch myself when no one is watching, says Henrik.

We already have a great international interest for the new trilogy. We have already sold the rights to the Nordic languages in June. This will be one of the biggest launches we have ever seen, we are looking to break records, says Joakim Nordin, agent at Nordin Agency.
