A.S.P.E. 13: RØVERKONGENS LÆRLING – A.S.P.E. 13: THE ROBBER KING‘S APPRENTICE

By Mette Finderup

KIRILLA, THE DAUGHTER of a nobleman, has run away from home and joined a band of robbers in the neighboring town. Her father is distraught, and A.S.P.E. is hired to bring Kirilla home and find evidence of the crimes committed by the robber king Moranos so that he can be brought to justice. To accomplish their mission, they disguise themselves as poor children. They must try to become members of the gang and are not allowed to use swords or magic. Along the way, they uncover a big secret…

A.S.P.E. IS A fast-paced fantasy series for children aged 10–13, filled with magic, friendship, and slightly-too-dangerous adventures.

THE SORCERESS has gathered four orphaned children—Alin, Silvius, Pilo, and Ene—to train them in the classic virtues and shape them into a true adventure group. Alin wields a sword, Silvius struggles to master magic, Pilo sharpens his aim with a bow, and Ene moves silently through shadows, picking locks and secrets alike. One day they may become legendary heroes—but for now, they are still just children, learning to trust one another while being thrown headfirst into perilous quests.

INSPIRED BY TABLETOP role-playing games and illustrated with affectionate nods to classic 1980s sword-and-sorcery fantasy, the A.S.P.E. books combine humor, action, and imagination. Each volume is a self-contained story that can be read independently, making the series easy to enter at any point. With 16 books planned, A.S.P.E. offers an expansive fantasy world that invites both young readers and older fantasy fans to join the adventure. Illustrated in black and white by Christian Guldager.
