THERE IS A place in Åre that few people know about. A burial ground where, since time immemorial, the Sami people have made troubles disappear. That place is called “The Wolf Cross”. War is approaching, where only one side can win, and the Milton family is prepared to do anything to destroy the Dreffling family and drive them out of Åre. One way or another…

VINCENT MILTON HAS long tried to suppress his dark past, but now that the war against the Dreffling family is escalating, he has no choice but to become the person he has tried so hard to forget. POLICE INSPECTOR KLARA Sundbacke comes to Åre to get the police district in order, but the more she digs into all the unsolved cases and scrutinises the current police chief, the more dangerous it becomes.

THE WOLF CROSS is the third part of the new parallel series Killing Åre, where we follow two different families in a life and death struggle for power and wealth in an Åre where nothing is what it used to be. The setting is an Åre where politics and crime go hand in hand in a constant quest for power and the hidden riches of the mountains.
