NATTVARDEN – THE LAST SUPPER

By Caroline Grimwalker & Leif Grimwalker

WHEN A MAN is found armless with arrows through his body in the middle of the woods outside December, John Wagner gets a new case to investigate. The traces lead him to a shady cult that seems almost impossible to access. Kim receives an unexpected visit from a young girl and at the same time she has to deal with her very unusual private investigation that John absolutely does not need to know anything about. There have also been a number of mysterious murders of women in December recently.

The authors have masterfully created a work that keeps the reader in its grip from beginning to end – or rather, from beginning to next beginning, because nothing in the series really ends when each book ends. […] Death In December has an almost magical ability to keep curiosity alive, and you never feel satiated – rather, you become hungrier with every page. The language is well balanced, with an intensity that matches the ever-increasing tension. […] A word of warning, though: once you start reading, it will be difficult to put down. So make sure you have plenty of time – because you won’t want to do anything else until you’ve made your way through the entire series.

[Grimwalker & Grimwalker] are incredibly skilled, and when I read the Death In December books, it sometimes feels as if I have fallen into a sinkhole. Time and space disappear, and only I and the inhabitants exist. One thing that stands out is the language, which is something out of the ordinary.
