THE ART OF DYING – KUNSTEN AT DØ

By Anna Grue

IN CONNECTION WITH extensive vandalism in artist Kamille Schwerin’s studio, her 83-year-old mother is murdered. The police suspect that it was actually Kamille herself that the murderer was after, and when she is subjected to several murder attempts, the suspicion becomes certainty. But the investigation is at a standstill. It is not until several months later, when she appears on the same reality show as private detective Dan Sommerdahl, that the case begins to move forward.

THE ART OF DYING is the third independent volume in the series about Dan Sommerdahl.

ANNA GRUE’S CRITICALLY acclaimed crime series has sold almost a million copies and is the inspiration behind the TV 2 series Sommerdahl. The books follow the bald advertising director and amateur detective Dan Sommerdahl, who cannot stay away from the mysteries in the cozy provincial town of Christianssund, even though police officer Flemming Torp does everything he can to keep him away.

“The idea of reviving a classic crime drama in a contemporary setting is elegantly executed.”
