RUMSPRINGA – RITE OF PASSAGE
By Pia Konstantine Berg
SOME HAVE TO take a little detour to find their way home. Others have to take 1,000.
SARA IS OVERTHINKING things. She was raised to always do her best and make perfect plans. The problem is that all her plans go out the window when she and the other journalism students have to find an internship, and Sara ends up at the last media outlet she had imagined. One misunderstanding leads to another, and soon Sara is entangled in a situation that stands in stark contrast to the sophisticated adult life she had dreamed of.
FORTUNATELY, SHE IS not alone in her internship, and a young photographer with a completely different and relaxed outlook on life turns out to be just what Sara needs. As a friend, that is. He is definitely nothing more than a good friend.
RUMSPRINGA IS A standalone part of the series Uden for citat (Out of Quote), which follows a group of friends studying journalism.
