JACOB JONIA has translated the who-is-who of German authors into Danish (Lutz Seiler, Sasha Marianna Salzmann, Jenny Erpenbeck, to name only a few) while establishing himself as a writer. The Outer Limit is the opening volume of a historical crime series, launched by People’s in Denmark in 2023. The second volume, The Dance Around the Golden Calf, followed in 2024, with the third volume, The Witcher, out in fall 2025.
NORDISK FILM HAS turned THE TRAVEL UNIT SERIES into a major movie production, directed by Christoffer Boe, the director of such box office hits as the crime thriller The Purity of Vengeance, a part of the popular Department Q series by Jussi Adler-Olsen. Boe co-wrote the movie script for Jonia`s series together with Lasse Kyed Rasmussen, who is known for scripting unforgettable series such as Darkness: Those Who Kill, the Netflix-series The Rain, and Below the Surface.
