Born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, Christian Mørk moved to Vermont, USA in his early twenties. After getting his BA in History from Marlboro College and his MS in Journalism at Columbia University, he wrote for film newspaper Variety and was a movie executive for Warner Bros. Pictures in Burbank, California. He also wrote about film for The New York Times. As a result of his many years in the USA, he writes his novels first in English and then translates them into his native Danish. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
