SILVERKANINEN – THE SILVER RABBIT
By Maria Grund
A WOMAN IS found dead on a remote limestone farm on Gotland. Her head is brutally disfigured, and the police find strands of rabbit fur on her body. No other traces or clues are found at the scene.
SANNA BERLING IS working her final week before the birth of her first child. Together with her colleague Carina Lidman, she begins the murder investigation. Heavily pregnant and facing difficulties in her romantic relationship, Sanna soon realises that the case is far more demanding than she could ever have imagined.
MEANWHILE, IN THE village of Augu in Småland, on a rain-soaked night, a stranger knocks on the door of the old inn. The stranger claims to be the child who disappeared from the village twenty years earlier. What was meant to be a peaceful transition into motherhood instead turns into a race against time.
THE SILVER RABBIT is the third instalment in the series featuring young police officer Sanna Berling.
