FALLET TARA – THE TARA CASE

By Anna Bågstam

PEGASUS IS HIRED to defend Claire, who is suspected of murder. She runs the Skogsviken residential care home north of Stockholm. Twenty-year-old Tara Walsh, who was discharged from the home a few months earlier, was found dead in a cottage a few hundred metres from the main building. When Alex and Lunken visit Skogsviken, they encounter a poorly run operation that raises worrying questions. What was going on in the cottage? Why did Tara return?

DESPITE BEING ON parental leave, Lydia does everything she can to defend her client, who is known in the media as the Axe Murderer. For Alex, it is increasingly about getting answers to the question of what really happened.

THE TARA CASE is a nerve-wracking page-turner about a world where young women are left to the mercy of flawed systems and forced to make great sacrifices.

THE PEGASUS SERIES is a modern-day Perry Mason but with a female defence lawyer in the lead role. The series also features her young associate Alex and the adventurous former police officer and private investigator Lunken. Together, they make up the Pegasus Law Firm, which takes on new cases in each book, each with a dilemma.
