DANGER IS STIRRING in Shadow Mountain in the third instalment of Sara Blædel’s popular crime series for children – but luckily, The Notorious are both quick-witted and exceptionally brave.

CILLA AND AGGER are looking forward to their holiday on Bornholm, but at the very last moment their trip is cancelled – again. Instead, they are sent to stay with their grandmother and the twins in Shadow Mountain, where strange things are happening.

IN THE MIDDLE of the road, they encounter the large, cheerful dog known as Beast – his hackles raised, a deep growl rumbling in his throat – right beside a huge, perfectly round circle in the middle of a cornfield, whose origin no one can explain. That same night, the sky erupts in a violent thunderstorm, and in a flash of lightning the children glimpse a shadow sliding down the side of the old television tower – as if something, or someone, is moving up there.

THE NEXT MORNING, they discover a discarded steel wire at the foot of the tower. And when a major police operation unfolds nearby, they begin to fear that something dangerous is about to strike Shadow Mountain.

THE NOTORIOUS WILL need all their courage and ingenuity – and perhaps a little help from their grandfather’s equipment – to prevent a serious crime.
