Synanthtope – A Love Story is Sigge Eklund’s debut novel. It has many of the traits that we recognised from the young Swedish literature of today. Not least due to its feverish and intense language that shapes something other than the books we have read before. Here is an obsession reminiscent of the great romantic literature.
The title is a compilation of synthetic and anthropos (Greek for human) and means something like artificial human

[Synanthrope] is incredibly beautifully written, insightful and simply stunning. There are no limits to how successful Sigge Eklund will be.
