BY AHRNSTEDT, SIMONA

The year is 1880.
It is December and the Stockholm social life is in full swing. Beatrice Löwenström, a young, tightly held bourgeois lady is visiting the opera with her uncles and his family. There she stumbles into the charismatic and infamous bachelor Seth Hammerstaal. He is one of the richest men in Sweden, an alluring man with no regard for societies rules.

Their chance meeting sets something unstoppable in motion. Despite their initial dislike for each other, their paths seem to cross at every twist and turn. Seth cannot help but be fascinated by Beatrice intelligence, beauty and candour. She is like no other woman he has ever met. It does not take long before Beatrice and Seth realize that they are entangled in a very passionate, yet complicated, romance.

Despite their love, arrangements have been set in motion to keep them apart. People very close to Beatrice have made promises and set plans in to action that do not include freedom, happiness or Seth…
