KATARINA BIVALD GREW up working part-time in a bookstore, dreaming of becoming an author. In 2013, the dream came true when she published her New York Times bestselling debut The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend.

THE AUHTOR LIVES in Stockholm with her dog Sam and is currently working on a cosy crime series set in Cornwall. The first installment of the series, Murders in Great Diddling, was published in the spring of 2022. The second book about the nosey and loveable Swedish author Berit Gardner, titled Death at Château des Livres, reached its readers in 2023
