Caroline Ringskog Ferrada-Noli (born 1980) debuted as a novelist with Naturen (Nature) in 2009, a novel about existential crisis written with humour and heart. Rich Boy is her second novel. It’s a novel that depicts the conditions of life of three generations of women over the 1900’s. It’s about class and motherhood, inherited traumas and lonely mothers unable to give their children what they need. With the same sense of style, picturesque and associative, as the praised debut, she has written a novel carried by a great sensitivity, psychological sharpness, beauty and darkness.
Caroline has a degree from Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and was behind the tv-series Juicebaren (The Juice Bar) that was broadcasted on SVT in 2017. Caroline has also worked as a producer in a number of TV productions and has one of Sweden’s most popular podcasts together with comic-book artist Liv Strömquist.
In 2018 Rich Boy was nominated for Tidningen Vi:s Litteraturpris 2018 (The Magazine Vi’s Literary Prize 2018).
